My comment.

My cousin, Dianne, asked me if this digital painting was my conception of the universe.
No, I said, it's just a galaxy in my own universe where the planet Earth cannot be found.
Now that I think of it, maybe that's why some people say I'm a space cadet.
The painting is called Galaxy Two. There was a Galaxy One, too, but I lost it.

  1. How does one lose a galaxy?

    1. Easy as losing the remote for your TV--when you're busy in another part of the universe.

  2. Hey T. St.,
This is great! I like the idea of it. Which came first the colored Chicken, the colored shell, or the colored egg? The way I understand it is the egg comes first. The chicken is just how the egg expressed its self. It is your galaxy though. Can you tell me what a digital painting is? Do you still have to be artistic, or can you program the work to look that way? Thanks for sharing your art. There may be hope for this box head.

    1. A digital painting is done with a graphic program. This one was done with Microsoft Paint, which by now is probably an antique. You may need artistic talent, but if you make a mess and just keep trying programmed changes you might create a masterpiece. I used plenty of "undo" moves for this one. If it looks good, it IS good, especially if it has some emotional impact.

    2. I once had a friend who joined me in a painting session. He didn't have a canvas, so he used the bottom of a cardboard box to paint a deer in a forest. When he asked for my opinion of his creation, I said, "Well...the deer looks kinda like a dog." (Of, course, I rubbed it in, calling the dog "degenerate"). He was undeterred, suggesting that he could always use the box as a hat, which he did--down to the car and halfway to Denny's Restaurant.
